Expected Conduct

We ask that all clients, guests, contractors, and visitors treat our team members and fellow guests with courtesy, professionalism, and respect at all times.

We welcome people of all backgrounds and are committed to fostering an environment that is free from harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, and abusive behaviour.

Unacceptable Conduct

Examples of conduct that will not be tolerated include, but are not limited to:

• Harassment, bullying, or intimidation

• Discriminatory or derogatory remarks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, ancestry, place of origin, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic

• Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise offensive comments or jokes

• Verbal abuse, insults, profanity directed at staff, or demeaning language

• Threatening, aggressive, or intimidating behaviour

• Unwanted physical contact

• Sexual comments, advances, or inappropriate personal remarks

• Conduct that creates a hostile, uncomfortable, or unsafe environment for employees or guests

• Repeated disregard for salon policies or instructions from management

This policy applies to all interactions that occur within the salon, over the phone, by email, through social media, or any other communication related to our business.

Reporting Concerns

Our team members are encouraged to report concerns regarding inappropriate behaviour. Reports are taken seriously and reviewed by management in a timely and respectful manner.

To protect the privacy of those involved, details of internal reports and investigations will remain confidential.

Consequences

Tips Nail Bar reserves the right to take any action deemed appropriate in response to behaviour that violates this policy.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

• A verbal warning

• Refusal of service

• Immediate termination of a service in progress

• Cancellation of future appointments

• Permanent termination of the client relationship

Management's decisions regarding the safety and wellbeing of our team and guests are final.
