The Best Fall Nail Trends of 2026
Updated: Oct 6
We think it’s safe to say that the minute the leaves start turning on the Danforth, we get pretty excited. Fall is one of our favourite seasons for nail art. The colours get richer, the finishes get moodier, and the designs get a little more playful.
Fall Nail Trends 2026 is all about deep cat eye, warm chrome and animal prints, in every shade.

Fawn Nails Are Having a Moment
First, we have to talk about the print everyone is asking for: fawn nails.
Also known as fawn or Bambi print, this design takes its cue from the soft, dappled spots of a young deer. Think caramel and chestnut bases with creamy spots scattered across the nail.
We love it as a full set, but it’s just as sweet as a single accent nail or a fawn-print French tip. It’s playful without being loud and, honestly, it might be the most wearable animal print of the season.
Dark Cat Eye
When it comes to colour, cat eye is still topping the list, but this year, it’s gone dark.
Espresso, deep plum, forest green and midnight navy are the shades we keep reaching for.
The darker the base, the more that magnetic shimmer glows. It’s like wearing a little gemstone on every nail.
And for anyone who can’t give up their classic red, red cat eye is the answer. Cherry, cranberry and garnet with a band of light running through them? We’re obsessed. It’s dramatic enough for fall but transitions beautifully into the holiday season.

Silver Chrome
Chrome isn’t taking a back seat anytime soon, and this fall it’s all about metallic silver.
Think liquid-metal, mirror-like finishes that catch the light every time you move your hands.
We love it as a full set of high-shine silver, but it looks just as good on silver French tips or as a single chrome accent next to a deer-print set.
Silver against deep, moody fall shades? That contrast is everything.

Tortoiseshell, Of Course
Classic tortoiseshell like it is every fall, and we’re not complaining. Layers of sheer amber, honey and deep brown create that glassy, vintage-sunglasses look that feels rich, warm and effortlessly chic. Try it as a full set, or keep it subtle with tortoiseshell French tips.

What We’re Seeing Behind the Scenes
Our nail artists get to be part of some pretty special projects, from working with brands and shows to TIFF and magazine shoots, which means we often get a first look at what’s coming next.
These are the trends we’ve been seeing on set and all over our Instagram feed, and we’re loving where fall 2026 nail trends are headed.
And the best part? These looks don’t have to disappear when the leaves do. Switch up the colour combinations, add a little sparkle or pair them with a fresh French tip, and you can keep wearing these trends well beyond fall.
We can’t wait to see what you choose.
